COVID-19 Response to Residents, Families, and Community Partners

As you know, the world is experiencing challenging times with the spread of COVID-19.

Dear Cadence Living Residents, Families and Community Partners,

As you know, the world is experiencing challenging times with the spread of COVID-19.  We appreciate the anxiety that this virus is causing in all aspects of our daily life, and especially in our environment where the care of our residents in paramount.  We have been very fortunate to date in that to our knowledge no resident or team member has tested positive for COVID-19.  Nevertheless, it is paramount that we take every precaution and operate with extreme vigilance so that we know we have done everything in our power to protect our residents and team members.

We understand that everyone is inundated with information from all sources and it can sometimes feel contradictory and overwhelming.  In such evolving times, we are attempting to provide you with a consistent message that the highest priority is to take every measure to keep everyone as safe as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience to all and we hope that with the warmer weather coming that COVID-19 will pass with the passing of the “flu season”. Nevertheless, we continue to take extensive preparations in the purchasing and storage of emergency supplies, such as gowns, goggles, masks, hand sanitizer, and food supplies that may be needed and become short in supply in the market. Our teams are continuously disinfecting high touch areas such as handrails, elevator buttons, doorknobs, chair arms and tables. Although group activities are cancelled, our Lifestyle Directors are being creative in how they continue to keep our residents engaged.  We are attempting to make “room service” feel like a luxury hotel instead of emphasizing the current pause on our restaurant style dining programs.

You will continue to receive notifications from us, and we hope you will refer to this web page as needed to gain the latest informational updates.

We are committed to providing our residents with the very best quality of life they can have while still maintaining a safe environment for all during this challenging time. We appreciate your trust in us and we thank you for following the protocols established to address the virus.  As they say, it “takes a village” and we appreciate your understanding and assistance in these efforts.  Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any concerns or questions.  Our continued mutual communication is paramount.

All the best,

Rob Leinbach and Eric Gruber, Principals
