We are a community that offers Assisted Living and Memory Care. For seniors living with Alzheimer’s, dementia or other forms of memory loss, The Georgian Lakeside offers specialized care with a therapeutic focus, all within a secure community that looks and feels like home.
Some of our residents in Assisted Living simply require help managing medications, while others need various levels of care. We can assist residents with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, grooming and escorts to dining and activities. Each resident has a personalized service plan that is updated regularly to meet their changing needs.
We recognize that every individual is unique and design individualized memory programs. Our activities are founded upon the Seven Dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, and physical. We utilize new technology, such as iN2L to enhance our residents’ ability to engage with friends and family.
Our Resident Services Director assesses each resident’s needs to create a personalized service plan that determines their level of care. Assessments are done with the involvement of family members before move-in, 30 days after move-in and as needed to ensure everyone receives as much or as little care as they need.
Our caregivers have completed care licensing and training programs as approved by the Georgia Department of Medical Assistance Services.
