La Sonora at Dove Mountain

I recently moved my aunt into assisted living at La Sonora and had some hesitations because the facility was so new.  I was worried that I would get a lot of empty promises as I had experienced when I moved my mother into a similar community several years ago.

We initially choose La Sonora because the community was only a few miles from my aunt’s home and would make it easy for her friends to come visit. To be honest, we surveyed 7 other similar communities in the area multiple times.  Danielle Oben was a dream to work with and made us feel at home during every visit.  Also, everything thing that Danielle promised about the community was very accurate and she truly cares that La Sonora is everything it should be.

Isabella Conte has always responded to any of my questions, helped me work through all of my concerns and pointed me in the right direction to make sure my aunt is happy. That says a lot about her, because I can be an enormous pain in the rear.  As busy as Isabella is, she always seems to know how my aunt is doing and that her needs are being taken care of.

Also, the care givers (especially Anna) have been great to my aunt.  The culinary staff does a great job and makes the effort to know everyone in the La Sonora community. My aunt has made great strides in coming out of her shell, making friends and attending most of the social events.

In closing, you should be very proud of your entire staff at La Sonora!
