Eric has over 30 years of senior housing and real estate development experience. From 1989 to 2001, he served as President and CFO of the Southwest Retirement Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ. At Southwest, Eric managed 150 employees and over 1,600 senior housing units in retirement communities from Texas to Arizona.

Eric was also Managing Member of Sierra Pointe Management, LLC, a senior housing developer, property manager and consulting company, from 2001 to 2016. Here, he managed the 216-unit Sierra Pointe Retirement Community in Scottsdale until its sale in 2014. Eric is a graduate of Stanford University.

Rob brings over 20 years of real estate and legal experience to Cadence. He was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for a Canadian-based real estate private equity group of companies, where he directed the growth of U.S. operations from 2007 to 2016. In this role, Rob was involved with managing approximately $4 billion in assets throughout North America, including more than 100,000 acres of land and over 25 active developments.

Rob received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, his M.B.A. from European University — Barcelona, Spain, and his Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College. He served as an attorney with Heller Ehrman, L.P., and later Wolfe Leinbach, P.S. Rob also sits on the Board of Directors for First Place AZ, a non-profit organization ushering in a new era of housing and community development for individuals with autism and neurodiverse abilities.

Robert has an over 25-year career in the real estate industry. He has held CFO or senior financial management positions with several large real estate companies, including Meritage Homes, Walton Development and Management, MCO Properties, Sun State Builders and Cordillera. He has financed nearly $3 billion of real estate development projects and joint ventures located throughout the southern United States.

Robert started his career in public accounting with McGladrey and Pullen (now RSM US, CPA’s) after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He holds an active CPA license and is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Urban Land Institute.

Tracy is a highly accomplished health care professional with over 20 years of experience in the senior living industry. Before joining Cadence, she held roles with Atria Senior Living, Sierra Pointe Management, Brookdale and Encore Senior Living. Beginning her career as a caregiver and working her way up to head operations, Tracy has been involved with every aspect of senior housing.

She has a proven record of success in business development, is adept at leading cross-functional teams and offers strong knowledge of current trends in gerontology care, state regulations and compliance standards for senior care facilities.

Holly McMurray is responsible for  providing direct support to our Regional Vice Presidents of Operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Colorado

Holly has 20 years of senior living experience and has served in positions like Regional Director of Operations, Corporate Compliance Officer and Director Licensing and Regulatory Compliance. She has also worked for Sunrise Senior Living, Integral Senior Living and Stonecrest Senior Living.

Additionally, Holly is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and previously taught the Certified Assisted Living Director (CALD) training course for her state’s chapter of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). Holly has a Masters of Healthcare Administration and a Masters of Business Administration.

Jonathan brings over 20 years of senior living knowledge with him to Cadence. He has held key leadership roles in both sales and operations in retirement living and has developed longstanding relationships with multi-state operators. Prior to joining Cadence, Jonathan held regional operational roles with Hunt/Spring Arbor Senior Living, Meridian Senior Living, and Five Star Senior Living with responsibility over Maryland and Virginia. His vast experience has allowed him to learn and apply best practices across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care resident services. Jonathan earned his B.S. in Psychology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Jonathan’s breadth of experience, and history and reputation of providing leadership excellence in the industry, has also earned him an invitation to serve on the Board of Directors of the LifeSpan Network in Maryland

Tony has over 15 years of experience in senior housing and real estate investment and development. He is principally responsible for business development, underwriting, strategic partnerships and execution on Cadence’s portfolio. Before Cadence, Tony held senior investment roles at Clearwater Living and Senior Resource Group, where he was responsible for sourcing acquisition and development opportunities.

Throughout his real estate career, Tony has held key transactional roles in private equity, investment banking and structured finance. He has closed over $3 billion in senior housing transactions and $800 million across multifamily, office and hospitality establishments.

Tony is a graduate of Stanford University, where he studied Economics and was Senior Class Vice President. He is also an alumnus of the National Investment Center for Senior Housing and Care’s (NIC) Future Leaders Council.

As Director of Development for Cadence Living, Brannon is responsible for project management of community renovations and underwriting renovation requirements for new acquisitions. Brannon also assists with community developments in Arizona, Colorado and California. Brannon recently moved to Phoenix from Chicago, where he managed several successful real estate companies for more than 25 years.

Brannon began his career in senior housing and multifamily development as President and Founder of Excelsior Group, which developed five independent living communities in the Chicago area. Brannon has also led real estate technology companies and short-term rental companies.

Randi brings over 20 years of marketing experience with the last 7 years devoted to healthcare and senior living.  Her expertise includes brand strategy and creating optimal growth through omni-channel marketing.

Most recently Randi worked at Regency Park Senior Living where she was responsible for all aspect of the companies branding and marketing strategy. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley and an advanced certification in digital marketing from University of California Los Angeles. Randi lives in Los Angeles, California.

Ronnie will have principal responsibility for operations of the Cadence Living managed communities in Colorado. Ronnie brings over 22 years of senior living sales and operations experience to Cadence including more than 15 years of oversight for communities in Colorado. Prior to joining Cadence, Ronnie was Regional Director of Operations supporting communities in Arizona, Ohio and South Carolina.

Over her 22-year career in the senior living industry, Ronnie has worked for Brookdale Senior Living, Christian Living Communities and Frontline Management with operational oversight at all levels of services from independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and adult daycare. Ronnie, a Colorado native, graduated with her BA and MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in Colorado and Arizona and a licensed Assisted living administrator in Colorado.

Ronnie and her husband, Michael, live in Aurora and they are the proud parents of two adult children, Sheldon and Marisa.

Anna brings over 10 years of experience in the senior living industry spanning multiple departments including activities, business office as well as executive director.  Prior to joining Cadence, Anna worked with Silverado Senior Living and Frontier Management providing specialized support with their memory care population.  When first joining Cadence Living, she had the opportunity to support assisted living and independent living residents as well memory care residents in an executive director role.  Her extensive experience working alongside her teams providing insights to overcome challenges allows her teams to continue to experience successes in their day-to-day service of the residents.  Anna is passionate about creating a positive and fulfilling environments for all of her community teams so they can better serve those who have done so much to serve all of us.

Brad Speight is the regional manager of lifestyle solutions for our senior population. He has 16 years of combined experience in the aged care and hospitality industries. Throughout his tenure in the senior care industry, he has served in positions ranging from dining services to Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing.

Additionally, Brad also served our country for eight years in the United States Army, where his leadership skills and dedication to service were born. He is passionate about providing senior living solutions. When you meet him, don’t forget to ask him, “Why?”

Michael will have principal responsibility of driving occupancy and revenue for the Cadence Living managed communities in Maryland and Virginia.

Prior to joining Cadence, Michael was the Regional Director of Sales and Operations at Park Street Senior Living, where he focused on developing a corporate marketing strategy that included community oversight, investor reporting, community training, and new hire orientation. Over the past 6.5 years he has held leadership positions in both marketing and operations at the community and regional levels. His passion for senior living is driven by his desire to positively impact the lives of residents, families, and teams on a daily basis, and sees this as paramount to what we do daily.

Originally from New Jersey, Michael wen to college in upstate New York and currently lives in Harrisonburg, VA with his wife Susan and their two children, Griffin (10) and Virginia (8). When not at work or spending time with his family, you will find Michael either at an open gym playing pick-up basketball or hiking trails at Shenandoah National Park.

Wayne has 42 years of combined private practice and in-house General Counsel legal experience. He most recently served as U.S. General Counsel for a Canadian-based real estate private equity group, where he led legal and governmental affairs in the U.S., as well as the group’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices.

He served two terms as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (America’s largest association of non-traded REITs), was the founder and Chair of the IPA’s Private Placement Securities Committee and the former co-founder and Vice-Chair of its Policy Advocacy Committee. Wayne received the Association’s national Award of Distinction for outstanding service and visionary leadership in the Direct Investments Securities Industry.

Additionally, Wayne has provided testimony before a subcommittee of the House Financial Services Committee on securities industry issues and job creation in America and served for years as faculty of the American Law Institute. A member of the Virginia State Bar and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Wayne has been a speaker and panelist for the American Bar Association, FINRA’s Annual Conference and the Appraisal Institute (June 2017, Ottawa, Canada). An honors graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College, he has his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and attended Georgetown University on a full academic scholarship.

Mark will have principal responsibility over the Encore Dining Program across the Cadence portfolio of communities. He brings over 25 years of experience in hospitality and senior living dining services.  Prior to joining Cadence, Mark spent three years as the Vice President of Food and Beverage at Allegro Management Company as well as eight years with Hyatt hotels where he led culinary operations for two Hyatt hotel brands. 

Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Sciences from the Culinary Institute of America in New York.

Michelle will have principal responsibility over Memory Care programming and compliances across the Cadence portfolio of communities. Prior to joining Cadence, Michelle was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at Cypress Homecare Solutions.  During her time there, she implemented a dementia-specific homecare program for Cypress and consulted with other agencies across the country to do the same.  She brings her extensive experience in dementia care having also managed memory care units in both skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.

 

With a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Education in Human Resource Development, Michelle has devoted the majority of her career to working with the senior population.  Understanding adult learning, Michelle believes that through education and communication holistically, we can better serve our residents and our team members.

Michelle is a respected speaker on dementia care and, has also been a support group leader for the Alzheimer’s Association, served on the board for the Arizona chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association in 2012-2013, has been an Alzheimer’s Impact Movement Ambassador to Arizona’s federal representatives, a facilitator for Dementia Friendly Arizona, a regular facilitator for Duet’s Finding Meaning and Hope group, and supports other local dementia initiatives.

Michelle is a mom of two teenage boys and their adopted dog, Luna. She is an avid hiker and loves cooking for others.

Kelly Grisnik is a human resource professional with 15 years of progressive management experience and an extensive background in senior living, including her most recent position as Director of Employee Relations for Stonecrest Senior Living. Kelly oversees performance management, progressive discipline and all issues surrounding retention, recruiting and performance management.

Before Cadence, Kelly spent time with Erickson Senior Living and Brookdale Senior Living. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Kansas State University and a Master’s of Management from Baker University.

Doug will have principal responsibility for designing and executing Cadence’s nationwide recruitment strategy.  Doug brings over 15 years of leadership and talent recruitment experience to Cadence. Doug was most recently a Manager of Talent Acquisition for Enlivant Senior Living.  His career also includes stints at Tave Risk Management, Katapult Network and Fortis Resource Partners.  Doug’s recruiting experience spans across various industries including senior living, tech, insurance, sales, and finance. Doug is passionate about finding the right candidates and prides himself on building relationships with his hiring managers to ensure the best fit from both a culture and technical standpoint while providing a Team First environment.

Maria plays an instrumental role in carrying out the nationwide recruitment strategy for Cadence Living, supporting the growing portfolio of communities in their hiring and staff retention efforts. Most recently she was a leadership recruiter for Enlivant Senior Living. She also brings 15 years of operations and HR management experience in the hospitality industry spanning across hotels and restaurants in Europe, North Carolina, Utah, and Chicago for the past decade. A trained sommelier, she loves wine, exploring new restaurants, dancing, biking, and travelling with her husband Tony, and 2 daughters, Victoria and Kristiana.

Christmas has joined the Cadence Team with over 6 years of senior living experience in the compliance field. Prior to joining Cadence, Christmas was the Risk and Compliance Manager supporting communities in Alabama, Arizona, California, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. Christmas, an Oregon native, graduated with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal from Portland Community College. Christmas also worked in a foreclosure law firm before moving into the senior living industry.

Christmas and her husband, Andrew, live in Tualatin, Oregon and are the proud parents of their daughter Winter and two dogs Lillie and MelRudy. In her free time, Christmas is on an all-women competitive dragon boat racing team and enjoys competing in racing festivals around the Pacific Northwest.

Tim has over 25 years of experience in accounting and reporting in the healthcare, insurance and financial services industries.  He has held senior level management positions with several large organizations including Ebix Health Administration Exchange and Pinnacle Senior Living.  He has expertise in building transparency into accounting and reporting functions with a strong focus on efficiency and process improvement.  He also brings strengths in M&A, compliance and staff development.

Tim started his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young in their Phoenix office. He holds an active CPA license and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting.  He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Financial Executives Institute.

Bridget has responsibility over the accounting and reporting of Cadence’s operating communities.  She brings over 25 years accounting expertise and business leadership to Cadence.  Her experience in both public and private entities includes senior management roles in  commercial industrial and medical office real estate, as well as the telecom and staffing industries. 

 

Bridget is adept at streamlining processes while maintaining compliance with internal control requirements, and enhancing procedures to make accounting operations scalable for continued growth. Bridget started her career in public accounting with a local firm in Southern California, after graduating Cum Laude from California State University Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  Bridget is a licensed CPA in California.

Kenlynn has a proven track record of successfully creating, implementing and managing strategies to enhance operations and delivery. Prior to joining Cadence, Kenlynn worked for Atria Senior Living with roles as an Activity Lifestyle Director. Most recently, she served as the Community Business Director at Sierra Point.

Nicole Sano brings over 10 years of operational experience and an extensive background in complex administration and project management.

Most recently, Nicole served as a Detachment Commander for the United States Army, Reserve component, 145th Multi-Functional Medical Battalion. She was directly responsible for the accountability of $10 million worth of installation and organizational property, as well as the combat readiness, health, and welfare of 99 Soldiers.

Nicole graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Military Science. Currently, she is studying for her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration at Regis College.
