Eric has over 30 years of senior housing and real estate development experience. From 1989 to 2001, he served as President and CFO of the Southwest Retirement Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ. At Southwest, Eric managed 150 employees and over 1,600 senior housing units in retirement communities from Texas to Arizona.

Eric was also Managing Member of Sierra Pointe Management, LLC, a senior housing developer, property manager and consulting company, from 2001 to 2016. Here, he managed the 216-unit Sierra Pointe Retirement Community in Scottsdale until its sale in 2014. Eric is a graduate of Stanford University.

Rob brings over 20 years of real estate and legal experience to Cadence. He was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for a Canadian-based real estate private equity group of companies, where he directed the growth of U.S. operations from 2007 to 2016. In this role, Rob was involved with managing approximately $4 billion in assets throughout North America, including more than 100,000 acres of land and over 25 active developments.

Rob received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, his M.B.A. from European University — Barcelona, Spain, and his Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College. He served as an attorney with Heller Ehrman, L.P., and later Wolfe Leinbach, P.S. Rob also sits on the Board of Directors for First Place AZ, a non-profit organization ushering in a new era of housing and community development for individuals with autism and neurodiverse abilities.

Robert has an over 25-year career in the real estate industry. He has held CFO or senior financial management positions with several large real estate companies, including Meritage Homes, Walton Development and Management, MCO Properties, Sun State Builders and Cordillera. He has financed nearly $3 billion of real estate development projects and joint ventures located throughout the southern United States.

Robert started his career in public accounting with McGladrey and Pullen (now RSM US, CPA’s) after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He holds an active CPA license and is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Urban Land Institute.

Tracy is a highly accomplished health care professional with over 20 years of experience in the senior living industry. Before joining Cadence, she held roles with Atria Senior Living, Sierra Pointe Management, Brookdale and Encore Senior Living. Beginning her career as a caregiver and working her way up to head operations, Tracy has been involved with every aspect of senior housing.

She has a proven record of success in business development, is adept at leading cross-functional teams and offers strong knowledge of current trends in gerontology care, state regulations and compliance standards for senior care facilities.

David brings over 30 years of skilled, long-term nursing and marketing experience to Cadence. He was most recently the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Living Care Lifestyles, a Seattle-based senior living company with over 750 team members and communities in five states.

He has worked in many facets of long-term care, including developing and implementing national medication service programs designed to reduce costs, consultation in community planning and sales and marketing.

David is an active member of the Western Washington aging community, serving on the board for the Sound Generations of King County, Gen Pride and Washington State Taskforce in long-term care reform. He also helped found The Puget Sound Healthcare Professionals. As a huge believer in disrupting the status quo in modern aging solutions, he recognizes the importance of optimal differentiation within the senior living marketplace.

Holly McMurray is responsible for  providing direct support to our Regional Vice Presidents of Operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Colorado

Holly has 20 years of senior living experience and has served in positions like Regional Director of Operations, Corporate Compliance Officer and Director Licensing and Regulatory Compliance. She has also worked for Sunrise Senior Living, Integral Senior Living and Stonecrest Senior Living.

Additionally, Holly is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and previously taught the Certified Assisted Living Director (CALD) training course for her state’s chapter of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). Holly has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from The University of Phoenix.

Jonathan brings over 20 years of senior living knowledge with him to Cadence. He has held key leadership roles in both sales and operations in retirement living and has developed longstanding relationships with multi-state operators. Prior to joining Cadence, Jonathan held regional operational roles with Hunt/Spring Arbor Senior Living, Meridian Senior Living, and Five Star Senior Living with responsibility over Maryland and Virginia. His vast experience has allowed him to learn and apply best practices across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care resident services. Jonathan earned his B.S. in Psychology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Jonathan’s breadth of experience, and history and reputation of providing leadership excellence in the industry, has also earned him an invitation to serve on the Board of Directors of the LifeSpan Network in Maryland

Tony has over 15 years of experience in senior housing and real estate investment and development. He is principally responsible for business development, underwriting, strategic partnerships and execution on Cadence’s portfolio. Before Cadence, Tony held senior investment roles at Clearwater Living and Senior Resource Group, where he was responsible for sourcing acquisition and development opportunities.

Throughout his real estate career, Tony has held key transactional roles in private equity, investment banking and structured finance. He has closed over $3 billion in senior housing transactions and $800 million across multifamily, office and hospitality establishments.

Tony is a graduate of Stanford University, where he studied Economics and was Senior Class Vice President. He is also an alumnus of the National Investment Center for Senior Housing and Care’s (NIC) Future Leaders Council.

As Director of Development for Cadence Living, Brannon is responsible for project management of community renovations and underwriting renovation requirements for new acquisitions. Brannon also assists with community developments in Arizona, Colorado and California. Brannon recently moved to Phoenix from Chicago, where he managed several successful real estate companies for more than 25 years.

Brannon began his career in senior housing and multifamily development as President and Founder of Excelsior Group, which developed five independent living communities in the Chicago area. Brannon has also led real estate technology companies and short-term rental companies.

Randi brings over 20 years of marketing experience with the last 7 years devoted to healthcare and senior living.  Her expertise includes brand strategy and creating optimal growth through omni-channel marketing.

Most recently Randi worked at Regency Park Senior Living where she was responsible for all aspect of the companies branding and marketing strategy. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley and an advanced certification in digital marketing from University of California Los Angeles. Randi lives in Los Angeles, California.

Before joining Cadence, Sloane served in both regional operations and regional sales roles with Frontier Management. Sloane has also held operational roles with Holiday Retirement, Brookdale and Prestige Care, as well as owning her own senior living consulting company

Ronnie will have principal responsibility for operations of the Cadence Living managed communities in Colorado. Ronnie brings over 22 years of senior living sales and operations experience to Cadence including more than 15 years of oversight for communities in Colorado. Prior to joining Cadence, Ronnie was Regional Director of Operations supporting communities in Arizona, Ohio and South Carolina.

Over her 22-year career in the senior living industry, Ronnie has worked for Brookdale Senior Living, Christian Living Communities and Frontline Management with operational oversight at all levels of services from independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and adult daycare. Ronnie, a Colorado native, graduated with her BA and MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in Colorado and Arizona and a licensed Assisted living administrator in Colorado.

Ronnie and her husband, Michael, live in Aurora and they are the proud parents of two adult children, Sheldon and Marisa.

Anna brings over 10 years of experience in the senior living industry spanning multiple departments including activities, business office as well as executive director.  Prior to joining Cadence, Anna worked with Silverado Senior Living and Frontier Management providing specialized support with their memory care population.  When first joining Cadence Living, she had the opportunity to support assisted living and independent living residents as well memory care residents in an executive director role.  Her extensive experience working alongside her teams providing insights to overcome challenges allows her teams to continue to experience successes in their day-to-day service of the residents.  Anna is passionate about creating a positive and fulfilling environments for all of her community teams so they can better serve those who have done so much to serve all of us.

Tommy Wood joined Cadence Senor Living in April of 2021 bringing 23 years of experience managing a wide variety of senior housing projects and portfolios.  He has an extensive background in healthcare operations and sales and has accumulated a strong track record of performance and customer satisfaction.

During his career, Tommy has held such positions as Executive Director, Regional Vice President, Director of Operations, Divisional Vice President and Senior Vice President providing operations oversight in most states of the U.S.  During his career he has worked for such companies as Emeritus Senior Living, Horizon Bay Senior Living, and Atria Senior Living as well as managed portfolios for smaller owner/investment groups. Mr. Wood has many years of experience fostering communications and providing a conduit to the interests of owners/investors, operators, employees, and customers to achieve common goals and objectives.

Tommy began working in the senior housing sector following a career in managed healthcare and insurance arenas. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas State University as well as a Master of Science in Health Professions (MSHP) where he was honored for outstanding academic achievement.

Melissa will have principal responsibility over operations of the seven Cadence Living managed communities in the Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Raleigh markets in North Carolina. She currently serves as a member of the North Carolina Assisted Living Association Board of Directors.  Before joining Cadence, she served in a similar role for Five Star Senior Living and also served in various leadership capacities including regional quality assurance roles for Sunrise Senior Living, Brookdale Senior Living and Brookshire Senior Living.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from East Carolina University as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University.  Melissa resides in central North Carolina with her husband and three wonderful children.

Zoie has principal responsibility over operations of the Cadence Living managed communities in Maryland and Virginia.

Zoie has been in senior living since 1993, starting in the industry as a recreation assistant and working her way up the ranks to executive director and regional vice president of operations. Before joining Cadence, Zoie worked with existing and new construction health care services for both for-profit and non-profit communities as well as single-site and multi-site organizations. She has national and international experience in a variety of service delivery arenas including adult day services, aging service networks, assisted living, continuing care retirement communities, dementia care, home and community-based services, hospice, person-centered long-term care, skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and stroke specialty programs.

Zoie holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from George Mason University, a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Health Care Law, Policy and Administration from Texas A&M University. She loves having time with her friends, family and dogs and spending time near the water.

Tracey has principal responsibility for marketing strategy of Cadence’s growing portfolio of senior living communities in the Northwest Region, including the launch of Cadence at Kent-Meridian in the Seattle MSA.  For over three decades, Tracey has been devoted to helping Americans live life to its fullest. She has spent over 15 years in senior living connecting people to meaningful products, services, and programs that enhance lives while creating magic moments for all ages, especially active agers. Her roles have ranged from overseeing marketing, sales solutions, corporate communications, and wellness/Life Engagement programming. Before joining Cadence, Tracey was the Director of Community Solutions with Seattle based Living Care Lifestyles. Tracey is a national presenter at aspirational conferences, like the ICAA, that specialize in improving the quality of living for older adults around the country and has over 30+ published articles, as well as creation of Senior fitness videos like The Groovy Granny, which inspired a generation of Seniors to keep health and fitness at top of mind.

Dakota currently supports Cadence’s growing portfolio on the West Coast. Dakota started her career in senior housing as a part-time sales assistant with Sunrise Senior Living. That experience quickly turned into a newfound and loved career in senior living sales and marketing. After Sunrise, she was a sales and marketing director for Atria Senior living, supporting redeveloped properties, lease-up projects and stabilized properties in California. Most recently, she worked as a Regional Sales Specialist with Oakmont Management Group.

While with her previous companies, she served as a mentor for new sales directors. She now looks forward to developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to support Cadence and its growing portfolio. Dakota lives in Redondo Beach, CA where she enjoys time at the beach, hiking and golfing.

Shelly will have principal responsibility over Marketing and Strategic Solutions of the Cadence Living managed communities in Colorado. Shelly has a background in Nursing and Real Estate. She has worked in the Senior Living Industry for over 10 years managing health care services and driving sales and marketing. She is passionate about serving older adults to the best of her ability whether that is overseeing Resident care or helping families navigate all the different care continuum options.

Originally from Colorado, Shelly lived in the California Bay Area for many years before returning 10 years ago. She currently lives in Arvada with her husband, who works for the Air National Guard, and her two very active teenage boys. Shelly enjoys scenic mountain drives, fishing, and doing her best to keep up with her busy boys. She also enjoys cooking for her family, reading, movies, and music.

Agustin “Agie” Olmedo has principal responsibility over Marketing and Strategic Solutions for the Arizona market. Agie brings over 15 years of marketing and 5 years of operations experience with extensive knowledge in new development and lease up projects. After a career in banking, Agie found a calling in the senior living industry. He began his senior housing career in marketing and after spending time learning the operations side finds himself coming full circle to lead the Arizona market in providing creative solutions for older adults. Agie prides himself on creating vibrant communities, a great place to work, and for providing compassionate care for our Cadence residents.

Brad Speight is the regional manager of lifestyle solutions for our senior population. He has 16 years of combined experience in the aged care and hospitality industries. Throughout his tenure in the senior care industry, he has served in positions ranging from dining services to Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing.

Additionally, Brad also served our country for eight years in the United States Army, where his leadership skills and dedication to service were born. He is passionate about providing senior living solutions. When you meet him, don’t forget to ask him, “Why?”

Stacy joins the Cadence Living Team with over 20 years of business development, sales & marketing expertise and employee relations/team building to her new role as Community Marketing Specialist. She has been a valuable sales leader and trainer with Procter & Gamble, Nephron Pharmaceuticals, Pacifica Senior Living, Marquis Senior Living and Home Care Assistance.

The senior living industry is a perfect career for Stacy, as she makes instant connections with seniors and their families to help them live their best lives, as well as being adamant to serve teams in her servant leadership style. Stacy holds a BA in Psychology and Family Systems from the University of Arizona, is a certified Life Coach and achieved a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Behavior from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Her experience over the years has helped her grow as a people trainer and leader using best practices, lead generation and successful conversion modalities within this thriving industry. Stacy seeks to inspire teams to grow and develop in areas that excite them.

Stacy’s passion for helping others and her exceptional sales leadership and marketing experience is a valuable addition to Cadence Senior Living. A mom of 4 incredible, adventurous children and two furry little ones (mini-Maltese). She and her husband love spending time with their grandchildren in Georgia and visiting California wine country when they get a chance.

Wayne has 42 years of combined private practice and in-house General Counsel legal experience. He most recently served as U.S. General Counsel for a Canadian-based real estate private equity group, where he led legal and governmental affairs in the U.S., as well as the group’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices.

He served two terms as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (America’s largest association of non-traded REITs), was the founder and Chair of the IPA’s Private Placement Securities Committee and the former co-founder and Vice-Chair of its Policy Advocacy Committee. Wayne received the Association’s national Award of Distinction for outstanding service and visionary leadership in the Direct Investments Securities Industry.

Additionally, Wayne has provided testimony before a subcommittee of the House Financial Services Committee on securities industry issues and job creation in America and served for years as faculty of the American Law Institute. A member of the Virginia State Bar and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Wayne has been a speaker and panelist for the American Bar Association, FINRA’s Annual Conference and the Appraisal Institute (June 2017, Ottawa, Canada). An honors graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College, he has his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and attended Georgetown University on a full academic scholarship.

Alan is an LVN and dementia specialist who brings over 14 years of experience in Senior Living in Corporate, Regional and Community roles. Most recently Alan was the Regional Director of Health Services for Oakmont Senior Living. During his 14-year tenure in Senior Living, he has created a tracking system focused on Dementia residents for Brookdale Senior Living California communities, spearheaded the revamping of the Yardi platform to an EHR and Incontinence program for Westmont Living, and collaborated with Oakmont health services leadership team developed technology to streamline delivery of care systems with the goal of improving the lives of seniors as well as team members.

For Alan, being a nurse means not only having the knowledge to treat an illness, but also having the heart and compassion when caring for residents and communicating with their loved ones. Alan studied Sociology and Music in the California State University system and received his nursing license as an LVN from American Career College. He is excited to lead in this new role with Cadence supporting the clinical leaders and all care team members.

Alan lives in Southern California with his wife, daughter and their two dogs, Molly and Suga. He enjoys cooking and is inspired by music, dance and his faith.

Prior to joining Cadence, Perry spent 23 years as an entrepreneur business owner where he has assisted corporations in their customer outreach, training videos and brand marketing. He recently became passionate about senior housing as a consumer and is looking forward to bringing cutting-edge ideas to Cadence’s mission in modern aging. Perry is a Bay Area native and graduate of Arizona State University.

Kelly Grisnik is a human resource professional with 15 years of progressive management experience and an extensive background in senior living, including her most recent position as Director of Employee Relations for Stonecrest Senior Living. Kelly oversees performance management, progressive discipline and all issues surrounding retention, recruiting and performance management.

Before Cadence, Kelly spent time with Erickson Senior Living and Brookdale Senior Living. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Kansas State University and a Master’s of Management from Baker University.

Doug was most recently a Manager of Talent Acquisition for Enlivant Senior Living.  His career also includes stints at Tave Risk Management, Katapult Network and Fortis Resource Partners.  Doug’s recruiting experience spans across various industries including senior living, tech, insurance, sales, and finance. Doug is passionate about finding the right candidates and prides himself on building relationships with his hiring managers to ensure the best fit from both a culture and technical standpoint while providing a Team First environment.

Maria plays an instrumental role in carrying out the nationwide recruitment strategy for Cadence Living, supporting the growing portfolio of communities in their hiring and staff retention efforts. Most recently she was a leadership recruiter for Enlivant Senior Living. She also brings 15 years of operations and HR management experience in the hospitality industry spanning across hotels and restaurants in Europe, North Carolina, Utah, and Chicago for the past decade. A trained sommelier, she loves wine, exploring new restaurants, dancing, biking, and travelling with her husband Tony, and 2 daughters, Victoria and Kristiana.

Christmas has joined the Cadence Team with over 6 years of senior living experience in the compliance field. Prior to joining Cadence, Christmas was the Risk and Compliance Manager supporting communities in Alabama, Arizona, California, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. Christmas, an Oregon native, graduated with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal from Portland Community College. Christmas also worked in a foreclosure law firm before moving into the senior living industry.

Christmas and her husband, Andrew, live in Tualatin, Oregon and are the proud parents of their daughter Winter and two dogs Lillie and MelRudy. In her free time, Christmas is on an all-women competitive dragon boat racing team and enjoys competing in racing festivals around the Pacific Northwest.

Diana Bell has over 30 years of experience in Payroll, Benefits Administration, 401K Plan Administration and Accounting. Diana oversees Payroll, Benefits and 401K administration for each community and the growing portfolio. Prior to joining Cadence, Diana was Director of Payroll, Benefits and Internal Control for Maplehurst Bakeries in Indiana for 18 years. Diana managed payroll and benefits for 1600 employees. Diana’s leadership skills and experience in Payroll, Benefits Administration and Accounting makes her a valuable asset to Cadence.

Diana graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Carrie Carspecken has more than 27 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Benefit Administration and Performance Review. Before joining Cadence, Carrie was the Director of Human Resources for Walton International Group (USA), Inc. and the Benefits Administrator for California Closets, Inc., where she managed the benefits system for over 900 employees nationwide. Carrie assists each community with HR, Payroll and Benefit issues and provides additional support to our growing portfolio.

Tim has over 25 years of experience in accounting and reporting in the healthcare, insurance and financial services industries.  He has held senior level management positions with several large organizations including Ebix Health Administration Exchange and Pinnacle Senior Living.  He has expertise in building transparency into accounting and reporting functions with a strong focus on efficiency and process improvement.  He also brings strengths in M&A, compliance and staff development.

Tim started his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young in their Phoenix office. He holds an active CPA license and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting.  He is also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Financial Executives Institute.

Kenlynn has a proven track record of successfully creating, implementing and managing strategies to enhance operations and delivery. Prior to joining Cadence, Kenlynn worked for Atria Senior Living with roles as an Activity Lifestyle Director. Most recently, she served as the Community Business Director at Sierra Point.

Nicole Sano brings over 10 years of operational experience and an extensive background in complex administration and project management.

Most recently, Nicole served as a Detachment Commander for the United States Army, Reserve component, 145th Multi-Functional Medical Battalion. She was directly responsible for the accountability of $10 million worth of installation and organizational property, as well as the combat readiness, health, and welfare of 99 Soldiers.

Nicole graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Military Science. Currently, she is studying for her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration at Regis College.
