While there is no set number throughout our communities, we exceed every state’s staffing ratio mandates to ensure our team can provide quality services and attention to each resident.
The Resident Services Director at each community assesses residents’ needs, then creates a personalized service plan that determines their required level of care: Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care. Assessments are completed upon move-in, as well as when a health-related event occurs, to ensure everyone receives as much or as little care as they need.
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They must complete the approved training program overseen by their state’s Department of Social Services. Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
Cogir offers Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors. Some communities only offer two of the three.
Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.
In Independent Living, you can choose a studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment, some with two baths. All our apartment homes will be licensed for Assisted Living to ensure residents can receive personal care services without having to move when the time comes. Memory Care apartments provide a specialized, safe and secure care environment for those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
