Meet our talented maestros…
Eric brings over 30 years of senior housing and real estate development experience. Eric spent 1989 to 2001 as President and CFO with Southwest Retirement Corporation in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Southwest, Eric managed 150 employees and over 1600 senior housing units in retirement communities from Texas to Arizona.
Rob brings over 20 years of real estate and legal experience to Cadence. Rob was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for a Canadian based real estate private equity group of companies where he directed the growth of the US operations from 2007 – 2016. In his role, Rob was involved with the management of approximately $4 billion in assets throughout North America including over 100,000 acres of land and over 25 active developments of all real estate asset types.
Vice President of Operations
Tracy is a highly accomplished health care professional with over 20 years of experience in the senior living industry. Prior to joining Cadence, Tracy held roles with Atria Senior Living, Sierra Pointe Management, Brookdale and Encore Senior Living. Over her career, Tracy has touched every aspect of senior housing operations, beginning her career as a caregiver and working her way up to head operations.
Susan V. Stangroom
Vice President of Operations
Susie brings over 25 years of senior living experience to the Cadence team. Her expertise includes internal audits for compliance of state and company regulations, market survey studies, development of policies and procedures, due diligence, portfolio management, community design and operational turn-arounds. A trained chef from the Culinary Institute of America, Susie also brings extensive culinary experience to Cadence.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Allyson brings over 23 years of senior living marketing, branding and sales leadership experience to Cadence. Her prior experience includes successful startups, acquisitions and the repositioning of distressed communities.
Chief Financial Officer
Bob has a 25+ year career in the real estate industry and has held CFO or senior financial management positions with several large real estate companies including Meritage Homes, Walton Development and Management, MCO Properties, Sun State Builders and Cordillera. Mr. Laak has financed nearly $3 billion of real estate development projects and joint ventures located throughout the southern United States.
Tom brings over 30 years of accounting, auditing and management experience to Cadence where his extensive experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgeting, and structuring sound internal accounting controls will be instrumental to the growth and success of the company.
Lidia oversees the accounting and financial reporting functions for several of Cadence’s communities as well as work on general corporate accounting matters. Prior to joining Cadence, Lidia served as a Senior Finance Accountant for Kitchell Corporation, a Phoenix based General Contractor and Property Manager, was a Senior Project Finance Accountant with Walton Development and Management and also worked in the accounting department for KB Homes, a leading national publicly traded homebuilder.
Director of Operations and Community Integration
Holly Springs-McMurray joined the corporate management team as Director of Operations and Community Integration in July 2018. In her role, Holly has direct responsibility for integrating newly acquired communities into Cadence’s unique operating culture through corporate training, systems management, and regulatory auditing in order to ensure that each new community “Finds its Cadence.”
